ABOUT
HIRAM GOMEZ

Hiram Gomez was born again in 1979 on a hot July afternoon in the city of Chicago, Illinois. On his way to purchase drugs with a couple of friends, the Holy Spirit redirected their paths and they ended up at the home of one of the young men. The young man himself was in a backslidden condition, however, his family was born again and on fire for God. It was there that Hiram had an encounter with Jesus Christ. Although he was born and raised in church, Hiram did not fully understand the plan of salvation. Curious to know more, he became inquisitive with his friends sister. Within a matter of minutes she was leading him in a prayer to accept Jesus Christ as His Savior and Lord.

Shortly after his conversion, Hiram was baptized in the Holy Spirit and became a student of the Bible, as well as an avid soul winner. A couple of years later he accepted the call to preach the gospel, and in 1982 began attending Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Upon graduation, he continued to reside in Oklahoma for several years before returning to Chicago, Illinois where he pioneered his first church.

In 1993, Hiram joined the staff of Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park, Illinois, where Dr. Bill Winston is the founder and Senior Pastor. He served there as an Associate Pastor, overseeing several ministry departments, as well as teaching in the Bible Training Center. In 1994, Hiram went on the road as an itinerant Bible teacher, and in 1995 pioneered his second church in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

He is currently president and founder of Triumphant Living International, a ministry that is taking the uncompromised gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations, equipping the Church for effective evangelism, and empowering people to live victoriously in life. He is a gifted Bible teacher, author, and speaker, anointed with the ability to minister the Word of God in simplicity and the power of the Spirit. As He ministers the Word of God, the anointing is present in his meetings to remove burdens and destroy yokes.
